Shipping

We usually ship twice weekly. Any item that is Not Marked Freight in the description of the item should be with you in  5/7 working days.

(Any alternatives or marked made to order will be clearly marked in the Items description)

Freight Item

Upon ordering any Freight Items (in the Items description) you will be contacted to arrange a day at your convenience for the delivery. Freight Items must be checked and signed for. We give you an earliest available date usually 5/7 working days and then work with you to find a suitable day. We ship with Hackling's (pallet line) for Freight Items there is no tracking available on this service terms will be sent to you as it differs from normal postage. You can ask for an ETA only on the morning of the delivery via email eta@hacklings.co.uk. If you are not in, they will not leave it and surcharge will apply for the redelivery.

Please Note the driver is not obliged to help move the item or remove the pallet. 

 

Height and weight Restrictions

Height 4.6 meters or weight restrictions on roads where the lorry will need to go must be reported to us before delivery is arranged, There are smaller vehicles available but these come at a surcharge set by your local courier, Height and weight restrictions will still apply and again are different depending on your local courier.

 

Shipping of this kind differs from normal postage

As you can imagine shipping your item(s) of this weight is expensive but very reliable. These terms are set out to protect you and must be followed. Your item(s) will be on a pallet. They will be wrapped in pallet wrap a (strong clear cling film) and strapped down with plastic banding. You must cut away the wrapping and check your items for any damage in transit. If there is any sign of breakage the pallet must be refused. Some small scratches can occur these will disappear with weather and guidance from your item(s) pdfs sent to you. Once you are happy your item is in good condition it can be signed for as clean. If any damage is noted after this, I will replace the item, but You will be responsible for any shipping cost and returning the damaged item(s) this can be very expensive and time consuming.

 

Terms and conditions of pallet delivery.   

Your item(s) are heavy, and a pallet is required for the delivery. It is of the up most importance that you check your item(s) thoroughly before accepting the shipment! All drivers allow 15 minutes for a consignment to be checked if You/consignee considers it necessary.

If you notice any damage then you must, either refuse the pallet or ask that the driver notes damages on the POD if you are willing to accept the pallet.

You/consignee must then report the damage to me immediately, so I can make the necessary arrangements.

Please be advised that a consignment being signed for as ‘clean’ counteracts any claim of damages or missing product.

In the vary unlikely event your item(s) are damaged the pallet will be returned to me, you will be offered a refund or replacement. But this is voided if you accept the item and sign for them as clean.

What I make is unique

Its hand carved to make the products finish, it will have imperfections and slight size and weight and colour variations.

Returns policy

I accept returns in the original packaging or packaging that will stop it getting broken which must be a very thick strong standard. The item(s) will be checked on return before a refund is issued.
